“What do you mean by that?” I whispered back at him, my stomach jumping as his fingers brushed my wet hair away from my face.
“Nothing.” He shook his head. “I’m just saying, I could do what I wanted to you right now, but all I’m doing is saving you. I hope you’ll trust me after this.”
“Untie me and I’ll trust you.” I nodded, unblinking.

“What?” I closed my eyes and waited to feel his lips on mine.
“Open your eyes, Bianca.” He whispered against my lips. I could feel his breath gliding over my skin as I opened my eyes slowly. I swallowed hard as I stared up at him.

J.S Cooper Totally caught me by surprise with Illusion.
Bianca and Jakob find themselves stranded on a tropical island after getting kidnapped.
Bianca trust very few people and she struggles to comes to terms that her mothers car accident may not have been an accident. Bianca father left he information and a letter after he passed away with clues that the truth may be right in front of her face,
Jakob seems genuine and concerned that Bianca is not who she seems to be and tries to figure out what made them end up kidnapped and on the island together, Then there is another guest on the island as well and Bianca doesn't know what to believe and who to trust.
Holy cow i wasn't sure what to think or expect when i read this book and i am anxiously waiting for the next book in this series. We are left with a MAJOR cliffhanger that had me throwing my kindle and yelling until i figured out that wouldn't happen.
